The Obermeyer Alpin Jacket is a lightweight, high-performance ski jacket built for protection and mobility on the mountain. Its 30K/30K waterproof and breathable construction pairs with PrimaLoft® Black Eco insulation for dependable warmth, while 4-way stretch fabric supports unrestricted movement. A helmet-compatible adjustable hood, CZV™ ventilation, RECCO® reflector, and Snap-Away™ powder skirt provide added functionality for changing winter conditions.
PrimaLoft® Black Eco insulation is made of 60% post-consumer recycled content. It has a high warmth-to-weight ratio and is soft, breathable, and compressible.
RECCO® Rescue System is a two-part technology. Ski resorts and mountain rescue teams carry RECCO® detectors, which send out a search signal. RECCO® reflectors worn in clothing bounce back a directional signal that directs the rescuer straight to the reflector. Unlike other technologies, multiple RECCO® reflectors on a person can improve detection.
CZV™ is Obermeyer’s proprietary venting system, designed to let heat escape while simultaneously allowing fresh air in, to assist evaporation. CZV™ vents feature an internal mesh insert to ensure only air is moving in and out of your outerwear. The CZV™ system includes underarm, chest, or thigh vents, depending on the garment.
