Snowshoeing is Easy

If you’re looking for a new hobby or a way to get outside and enjoy the snow, snowshoeing is the way to go. The sport has no learning curve and anyone can enjoy it! Simply strap on snowshoes over your snow boots, and you’re ready to go. The larger base keeps you from sinking into the snow, and the metal hardware on the bottom provides traction.

Why Use Poles?

Similar to hiking and skiing poles, snowshoeing poles help keep you balanced, especially on steep and uneven terrain. That’s why they’re included in our snowshoe rentals and our snowshoeing tours. Some people aren’t into using poles, and others swear by them—we’ll let you be the judge.

Victoria Ritzinger

Victoria loves the freedom that snowshoeing provides, whether she’s staying on the trail or venturing into the powder between the trees. Not only does Victoria enjoy guiding in the “pure nature” of the Uintas, but she also loves taking people on moonlight snowshoe tours. “It’s very peaceful in the darkness and that makes you much more present in the moment,” she says.
