Pricing

It is not in our policy to price match. However, we will gladly consider all requests. Please feel free to contact us with any questions.

We have multiple locations that go on SALE at different times throughout the year, depending on the season. We announce the exact dates in the local Park Record newspaper and via our Social Media outlets. We do have merchandise on SALE year round at our Park Avenue location.

Shipping

We do our best to ship orders the same day they are received so long as they are placed prior to 1:00 p.m. Mountain Time. If an order is placed after 1:00 p.m. Mountain Time, or over a weekend or holiday, the order will ship out the next business day.

We offer shipping options from USPS and UPS. USPS is used for PO Boxes as well as Jans Standard Shipping. Please contact customer service if you have specific shipping needs.

Yes, orders can be picked up at Jans on Park Ave or at White Pine Touring on Bonanza Dr. Select In-Store Pickup at checkout and choose your preferred location. You will receive an email when your order is ready for pickup.

Jans.com is happy to ship to addresses in Alaska and Hawaii. Due to carrier capabilities, available shipping options may be limited for zones in Alaska and Hawaii. Additionally, estimated delivery times listed by the shipping provider may be inaccurate and/or extended on short notice. Please contact the shipping provider directly with questions regarding delivery to addresses in Alaska and Hawaii. Additionally, large items such as skis, coolers, or luggage will incur an additional handling charge of $30. Our customer service department will reach out with more information.

We provide direct international shipping to countries and localities accepted by USPS and UPS.

Once your order ships we will send you a confirmation email, which includes a personal tracking number from the carrier. With the carrier's tracking services, you can view your order's shipping status and scheduled delivery.

For orders shipped to states other than Utah and Colorado, you do not pay sales tax. Utah and Colorado orders will pay sales tax because we have retail locations in these states.

Yes we do. All orders shipped to APO/FPO ZIP Codes receive FREE shipping.

Military personnel receive a 15% discount on full price items only. The discount can not be used with any other promo or promo code. We use GovX for verification at checkout. Learn More

Rentals

Our Sport Skis are our basic rentals. They are ideal for beginner and intermediate skiers looking for an easy turning, frontside option.  

Our High Performance Skis are ideal for intermediate to advanced skiers looking for skis matched to the snow conditions at hand.

Starting after 4:00 p.m. you can pick up your ski rentals without being charged for an additional day.

Cancellations must be made 48-hours before the scheduled start date of your rental reservation for a full refund.

We offer bike rental delivery to guests of participating hotels. More information can be found here.

At this time we do not offer delivery to the general public.

All reservations must be made at least 1 full day in advance.

We offer ski and snowboard rental clothing in-store only on a first-come-first-served basis. Rental clothing is not available to reserve ahead of time.

No, there isn't a minimum age for kids' bike rentals, the only requirement is that the kid can competently ride the bike. Our smallest kids' bike is a Specialized Riprock 20, with a recommended height of 41 - 52 inches.

Yes, E-bikes are allowed on paved pathways and soft-surface trails over 5ft wide.

No, E-bikes are not allowed on Park City's mountain bike trails, with an exception for folks age 65 or older. E-bike use is permitted on singletrack trails within Park City for users that are over 65 years old or users with a mobility disability.

Please confirm that your reservation accounts for the entire duration that you would like to have the bike!

No, we don't offer traditional thin-tire road bikes. The closest we have are gravel bikes, which have a similar riding posture but with wider tires that are well suited for rougher roads.

At this time we do not offer online booking for Nordic ski rentals. We will set you up with your rental gear when you check in to ski. For more information please contact our staff at the White Pine Nordic center:

Guided Tours

Technically, no there isn't an age minimum. We recommend kids be age 10 or older for our fishing trips. Fly fishing requires a certain level of patience and coordination, which might be challenging for some kids.

Half-day trips are 4 hours, full-day trips are 8 hours.

Yes, we offer roundtrip transportation between Park City hotels and the river. Please call the shop to coordinate transportation before your trip, 435-649-4949.

Yes, our Half-Day Group Fly Fishing Trip is for larger groups of 9 or more.

No, our mountain, road, and fat bike tours include a bike rental and helmet for the duration of your tour.

Lessons

Jans mountain and road bike lessons include rental bikes for the duration of the lesson.

Yes, Jans bike lessons are a great way for kids to improve their biking skills. We do require that kids can already ride a bike before joining for a lesson.

Yes, Jans offers fly fishing classes through our partner shop, Fishwest, in Kamas, Utah. More information can be found here.

Yes, students must be 10 years of age or older to attend our fly fishing school and MUST be accompanied by a parent, guardian, or sibling over the age of 18.

No, we can tailor our Nordic ski lessons to any experience level, even if it's your first time.

No, all Nordic ski lessons include rental gear.

Tuning Services

You can drop your skis or snowboard off at any Jans location and we'll have them tuned at the Rennstall Tech Center. During the winter season we offer tuning overnight if you drop off before closing.

Yes, Jans offers PHANTOM Glide base treatment on customer skis as a tuning service. Customers can also have PHANTOM Glide applied to new skis purchased at Jans. Learn more

Yes, whether you're coming to Park City for a ski vacation, or simply don't have an elite tuning center back home, you can still get access to our world-class tuning services. With our Ship-to-Tune Program, you can send your skis to Rennstall to receive the Expert tuning services they deserve. When the work is done, we'll either hold them in the shop for you to pick up in person, or pack them up and ship them safely back to you, whichever you prefer.

Our Park Avenue location is our flagship store located on Park Avenue. It is only 2.3 miles from Deer Valley Resort, with convenient access to free bus transportation.

Our Park Avenue location is our flagship store located on Park Avenue. It is 0.5 miles to the base area at Park City Resort. There is a convenient bus stop across the street from Jans that will take you to the PC or Canyons base areas.

Jans offers some fun ways to get outside and enjoy winter. Explore the snow-covered trails around Park City on a guided snowshoe tour or fat bike tour. Or try cross-country skiing at the White Pine Touring Nordic Center. Here you can find Nordic ski rentals, as well as lessons and guided tours.
