RECCO® Rescue System is a two-part technology. Ski resorts and mountain rescue teams carry RECCO® detectors, which send out a search signal. RECCO® reflectors worn in clothing bounce back a directional signal that directs the rescuer straight to the reflector. Unlike other technologies, multiple RECCO® reflectors on a person can improve detection.
610D Cordura® is a high-performance coated polyester fabric constructed with 600 Denier. Cordura® is 100% waterproof, non-porous, and water beads up and rolls off. It is UV-resistant, non-fading, and doesn't stretch or tear easily. The 600D Cordura® is synonymous with ruggedness and strength and is used on some Mountain Hardwear apparel.

ThermoCloud™ is Mountain Hardwear’s lightweight, breathable synthetic insulation designed for durable warmth—even in damp conditions. It is lightweight, packable, and compressible, with a smooth, low-bulk feel that layers easily under a shell. The recycled synthetic fill provides consistent warmth while maintaining performance when conditions turn wet.
