Textiles in the outdoor sector are usually treated with PFCs (polifluorinated chemicals) to make them water and oil-repellent. These chemicals are controversial because of their harmful effects on human health and the environment. Head tries to avoid them wherever possible.
TAPED SEAMS
Seams are a weak point on clothing where moisture and wind can penetrate. That is why the seams on the inside of our products are sealed with tape. This tape is machine-welded onto the seam and closes it completely.
