Rennstall World Class Snowboard Tuning

At Rennstall, we take a lot of pride in our snowboard tunes. While we may be billed primarily as a tune center for ski racers, our technicians are highly-trained and experienced in working with snowboards – even helping one of our snowboard customers win an Olympic medal. Many of our technicians are riders themselves. That means they understand the on-hill needs of snowboarders, and know how to deliver a tune that truly improves your board’s performance.

It sounds painfully obvious, but snowboards are not skis. Understanding the distinct differences between the two pieces of equipment is the key to providing snowboard tunes that go beyond simple base repairs, edge sharpening, and hot waxing. There’s an art to working with boards, and at Rennstall, it starts with treating a snowboard, as a snowboard.

We Tune All Snowboards

Snowboards come in all forms, and each type requires its own unique tune. Our technicians have seen every type of snowboard under the sun, and know the specific ins and outs of tuning all of them. All-mountain, powder, park and pipe, SBX, carver, splitboards…regular camber, reverse camber, tip and tail rocker…twin-tip, flat-back, swallow tail, magne-traction, reverse sidecut. The list goes on and on, but the point is this: at Rennstall, we know how to tune every kind of board for every kind of rider.

In addition to our 100% satisfaction guarantee, all of our snowboard tuning and waxing is completed with our Overnight Guarantee. Simply drop your snowboard off by 5pm at one of our three convenient locations – Rennstall, Jans at Park Ave, or White Pine Touring – and it will be waiting for you at the location of your choosing by 8am the next morning.

At Jans, we value our customers’ equipment and time. That’s why we work through the night to make sure you never have to miss a day on the slopes.

As the SBX Head Technician for the U.S. Snowboarding team, Andy Buckley has earned his stripes on the pro circuit. From the X-Games, to the World Championships, to the Olympics, Andy’s tuning and waxing have been helping U.S. athletes reach the podium for years.

He got his start at Rennstall way back in 1997, and it wasn’t long before the national team came calling. The pros have kept him on the road since 2001, but now…he’s back.
