About This Tour
Believe it or not, Park City hasn’t always been a ski town. Get a glimpse into Park City’s rich mining history on our Historic Sites Bike Tour. You’ll visit a plethora of historical sites and old mining relics with a local guide who will share fun facts and interesting stories about what life was like when Park City’s mountains were filled with mining tunnels instead of ski lifts.
Your tour will begin with a quick van ride up to Deer Valley, making this ride relatively easy and mostly downhill (you’re welcome). Kids are more than welcome, and since this is a private tour, you get to set the pace of the ride.
Admission to the Park City Museum and a comfort bike rental are included in the cost of our Park City Historic Sites Bike Tour. Comfort bikes are essentially cruiser bikes with gears but are more appropriate than cruisers for the minor uphill sections that you’ll encounter on this ride. We also offer e-bikes for this tour, if that’s more your speed.
