We strongly believe that the decision to buy a bike should follow firsthand experience with the make, model, and components in question. To “demo” a mountain bike is to take it beyond the parking lot, and put it to the test on a real ride (or two, or three), in order to learn its every move and behavior.

What is the Free Test Program?

Investing in a new bike shouldn’t feel like a roll of the dice. That’s why we offer our Free Test Program.

If you end up buying a bike from us at retail price, we will apply up to three days’ worth of rental fees toward the purchase price of a brand new bike. So if you’re looking to “try before you buy,” rest assured that taking our high performance bike rentals out for a test ride is still the best way to guarantee you head home with the right bike for you.

Read Reviews, Test for Yourself

Gear reviews can be a great way to research equipment before you make a purchase. But there are limitations to what reviews can tell you about how a product will perform for you. At Jans we believe that gear reviews are a useful research tool, but firsthand experience with a product is even better.

Free to Try Before You Buy

We want to make sure you end up with the equipment that works best for you. That’s why we credit up to three days of your testing fees toward the retail purchase price should you decide to buy a new bike or skis. We want you to be confident in your decision, and the best way to do that is to let you Try Before You Buy.
