About This Tour
The Green River below Fontanelle Dam in southwest Wyoming flows through protected wildlife refuge and is an amazing high-desert fishery with brown, rainbow, cutthroat and cut-bow trout. This section of the river fishes well and averages 250 fish per mile. While catch rates may not be what they are on the Green in Utah, there is special appeal to fishing in Wyoming and chasing large fish with big flies.
Due to the river’s distance from Park City, we recommend that you book multiple days to truly enjoy this area. As a tailwater fishery, the Green can be floated or wade fished, and you can choose between the two for your trip. Dates are subject to availability, and there are times of the year that we do not fish the Green River in Wyoming because of warm water temperatures. All the gear needed, such as flies, rods, wading boots, and waders is included, but a Wyoming fishing license, tax, gratuity, and transportation are not included in the price of this trip.
