About This Tour
Carpentaria Seafaris is located south of Papua New Guinea, at the northern end of the Great Barrier Reef. A flight to a remote airfield and a journey to the coast will put you on a sport fishing skiff, headed down the coastline to the fishing areas. Fifty-two unique species of fish live in these waters including blue water tuna and giant trevally. Needless to say, the Great Barrier Reef is undoubtedly a saltwater fly fishing paradise, and with so many large predators to test your mettle on, you won’t stay long in any one area.
While in this beautiful locale, you will spend your days on a sport fishing skiff designed to provide both luxury transportation and protection from the predators you aim to catch.
Each morning, you’ll be busy fishing for lunch that will then be prepared by a chef with fresh wasabi on the side.
Get ready for the saltwater fly fishing trip of a lifetime full of unique species, new challenges, great food, and even better company. We look forward to you joining us on our next adventure to Carpentaria Seafaris.
