The Stöckli Montero AR Pro / Strive 13D Ski System is built for strong skiers who love carving with precision but aren't content to stay on groomers all day. With an 84 mm waist, it blends race-inspired performance with the versatility to confidently handle changing resort conditions. The premium wood core, reinforced by dual Titanal layers, creates a smooth, powerful platform that rewards an aggressive skiing style with exceptional stability and energy out of every turn. Racing Sidewalls provide direct power transmission for tenacious edge grip, while the genuine Race Base delivers the fast, effortless glide normally reserved for competition skis. An All Mountain Rocker profile with subtle tail rocker keeps turn initiation intuitive and allows the ski to release predictably without sacrificing the strong edge hold Stöckli is known for. Finished with an elegant Titec aluminum topsheet, the Montero AR Pro looks as refined as it skis. Paired with Salomon's Strive 13D system bindings for a low, responsive connection to the ski, this setup is an outstanding choice for advanced and expert skiers seeking race-level precision in a premium all-mountain package.

All Mountain Rocker
Stockli uses this profile design in their all-mountain skis to make them easier to turn with a hint of playfulness. Skis with All Mountain Rocker are ideal for less-than-pristine pistes, heavy spring snow, and for off-piste terrain.
Full Edge Contact (FEC)
The shortest distance between two points is a straight line; and a curved line is more distance. The concept applies to ski edges also—the wider the curve, the longer the ski edge. FEC construction features wider shovel dimensions (plus a wider tail on GS models) for a more pronounced sidecut producing longer edge contact length. That means faster initiation and enhanced grip through the full turn.
Solid Metal Edge Light
The same edge thickness as Stockli’s Solid Metal Edge (SME), but the edge is not as thickly built into the ski. The result is a lighter edge that is still more durable than traditional edges, helping prolong the lifespan of the ski.
Tail Rocker (TR)
Tail Rocker is a revised design of Stockli’s ski tail bend—now offering a longer bend and flatter radius than previous iterations. The increased length of the tail rocker results in a more playful feel, while the flatter radius provides enhanced grip when edging.
Race Base
The Race Base coating has a higher graphite content compared to a conventional coating, which offers even better gliding properties. The increased graphite makes the coating highly abrasion resistant by keeping dust and other particles in the snow from penetrating the coating and causing a braking effect.
Racing Sidewalls Black
Stockli’s Racing Sidewalls Black uses slightly harder phenolic sidewall that is used for race ski construction. This gives the ski greater stability and enables more direct power transmission.
Flex Torsion Control (FTC)
These are special S-shaped cut-outs in the tip and tail of the ski. The purpose is to soften flex and reduce torsion forces in the tip and tail. This allows torsion to remain adaptable and causes turn initiation and edge release to feel easier and smoother.
