The Helly Hansen Alpha LifaLoft Pant features a 2-layer Helly Tech Professional membrane to keep you dry during long days on the mountain. LifaLoft insulation provides extra warmth without the bulk and outer thigh ventilation zippers allow excess heat to escape when things get too hot. The pants are fully adjustable and feature boot gaiters with silicone grips for comfort and an optimal fit.

Helly Tech Professional is Helly Hansen’s extremely waterproof and extra-breathable outer layer specifically designed for highly aerobic, extremely wet or unusually long-lasting activities in extremely harsh conditions.
RECCO®
RECCO® Rescue System is a two-part technology. Ski resorts and mountain rescue teams carry RECCO® detectors, which send out a search signal. RECCO® reflectors worn in clothing bounce back a directional signal that directs the rescuer straight to the reflector. Unlike other technologies, multiple RECCO® reflectors on a person can improve detection.
PFC-Free Durable Water Repellent (DWR)
Like standard DWR, PFC-free DWR is a fabric treatment that improves the water-repellency of the outer layer of the material while maintaining its breathability—but without PFCs (perfluorinated chemicals). PFCs decompose slowly and negatively impact the environment. According to the EPA, PFCs also harm human and animal health, and they can be ingested through air, water, and food.

LIFALOFT is Helly Hansen’s innovative insulation designed to retain more heat while remaining lightweight and comfortable during even the most intensive activities. Its unique LIFA fiber structure makes LIFALOFT lighter than standard insulation, allowing for maximum comfort and agility.
