RECCO®
RECCO® Rescue System is a two-part technology. Ski resorts and mountain rescue teams carry RECCO® detectors, which send out a search signal. RECCO® reflectors worn in clothing bounce back a directional signal that directs the rescuer straight to the reflector. Unlike other technologies, multiple RECCO® reflectors on a person can improve detection.

Like standard DWR, PFC-free DWR is a fabric treatment that improves the water-repellency of the outer layer of the material while maintaining its breathability—but without PFCs (perfluorinated chemicals).
